Some 30 years
ago, Harvey Stotts founded Surplus Supply. Its offices were
originally located at 11930 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX.
In October
2001, Surplus Supply was acquired by George M. Chernenko, owner
of Independent Hydraulics, a hydrostatic repair company, and
York Container, a corrugated box manufacturing company.
Mr. Chernenko has been in the surplus business since 1985. He
has developed numerous contacts and has made friends throughout
the United States and Canada that enables Surplus Supply to
locate hard to find specialty items.
In December of
2002, Surplus Supply moved its operations to its current
location at 2004 North Frazier in the City of Conroe. Surplus
Supply has a large presence in the South Texas area. The
company has expanded its market presence to become a nationwide
supplier of hydraulics, neumatics and electrical components. We
sell and supply equipment to clients around the world.
